Steve: How are you feeling?

Sarah: Feeling really good. I feel a lot of clarity has come from today without it being performative, or grinding in and defining things in an overly orchestrated way. It just feels good.

Steve: What do you think your biggest takeaway from it is? How are you leaving here different?

Sarah: I think the goal itself is my biggest takeaway. The way we've been guided to actually find that goal is just not something I've ever done before. It's landing with me in a way that feels exciting and doesn't feel pressurised, which is important for me. I'm excited, and there are obviously all of the different supporting elements that make it feel actually implementable as well.

Steve: Does this feel like it will be doable? Do you think it's going to actually change everything for you?

Sarah: I think so. I've been on the journey of removing the layers of artifice and wounding that drive the desire for success for a long time. It's been a huge amount of my path. In a way, that's put me in a place where today isn't necessarily feeling like a huge leap, but there are definitely pieces of actual strategy and implementing that I haven't really had. The way Astra is teaching it is so different from all of these very process-orientated, specific, overly defined, and structured methods, which for me is the challenge. So yes, I do feel it's implementable.

Steve: You talked about the way Astra is facilitating. Can you talk a bit more about how that's different and how it's affecting you?

Sarah: There's a humanness and a gentleness to the way Astra is facilitating that just lands well for me. I feel I've been invited to find what's landing for me and find an edge without necessarily being absolutely pushed or forced to land on it if it wasn't ready. I felt invited and not forced, and that feels really key. I also think there's an element of trust that I have in Astra because of knowing how they move through the world and their work with a lot of integrity. That gave me a lot of safety and faith in the process to go in very open.

There is a naturalness to the way Astra held the day where I didn't at any point feel I needed to perform a task or get an answer right. There was no sense of needing to rehearse anything. For anyone who's a little bit neuro-complex or used to trying to be the perfect student, that can be a barrier to how present you actually are in the experience. I definitely felt totally able to just be fully there, so that's really huge.
